The Kurt Geiger brand comes to SA
New York! New York! was the captivating theme for the Johannesburg Kurt Geiger launch
held at their flagship store at The Eastgate Shopping Mall.
Models decked out in the latest Kurt Geiger trends greeted journalists with a choice of the
all time classic New York styled cocktails, “Tom Collins”, “Harvey Wallbanger” and the all
time favorite “Manhattan” were flowing from the bar getting the launch off to a great start.
The menu sported classic pastrami on rye, pizza, New York styled hot dogs and of course
who could forget the salmon and cream cheese bagels. The Kurt Geiger team welcomed the
guests and shared their contagious enthusiasm and vision for the brand going forward,
after which guests were able to peruse the latest winter collection on offer.
The generous gift bags brought about screeches from the journalists as did the delicious
mini “big apple” toffee apples served up in chocolate and caramel cups to finish off the night.
The Cape Town launch is underway on 10 May 2011 at the Cartwright Centre.
